A dear childhood friend of mine recently asked me to paint a portrait of Benito Juarez(President of Mexico during the 1800s) He fought the French occupation of the Country and restored the Republic as well as overseeing important reforms. ...He is considered Mexico's greatest Hero. My Friend Walter Dominguez is a film maker and recently made a documentary on the Revolution (his Great Grandfather was involved in the War) My painting is being use in the narrative part of the film.. It shows Benito Juarez and some war scenes.
